Google Services (Products) annoyances

I'm rather furious that my photos captioned with specific words (scientific names of plants) are not returned when I search my photos; rather Google is returning a bunch of my photos that look like the plants but are 90% of the time incorrect identifications.  This is absolutely bonkers.  How hard is it to index my captions and return the photos that have the search terms in those captions rather than doing a piss poor job of image recognition?  I know for a fact Google is already indexing my photos based upon my captions because when I add a correct species ID, the search results improve to about 15 to 20% correct "similar-looking" plants, but still missing many of the photos I manually captioned with the scientific name.

Ludicrous and infuriating!

Symptoms of a dying DOCSIS 3.0 Technicolor TC4350 cable modem?

I pay for 150 Mbps internet service and I'm getting very inconsistent results at speedtest.net, only getting between 11 and 24 Mbps down. My upload is sometimes higher than the download which is uncommon for home services and not what I'm paying for. Here's some screenshots from speed test runs including a screenshot of the monitoring graph from my OpenWRT router. Notice the strange drop off in the middle of the test run. A major sign that points me toward a bad cable modem rather than problematic lines from the ISP is: earlier this morning, I lost internet -only power, link, and DS light (flashing) were lit- and I tried unplugging/re-plugging the barrel connector to power on the back of the modem to no avail... same indicator lights, no internet. This was with a 2-4 minute cooldown period.
